Abstract
The purpose of this study was to identify the current status of job retention for seriously handicapped workers through non - disabled workers working in production facilities for severely disabled people. Methods: Six non-disabled workers participated in this study who worked in the production facility for severely handicapped people for more than two years. In the interviews of the research participants, it was possible to derive meaningful results through the frank talk about the job maintenance process of severely handicapped workers. Results: The study consisted of 79 subjects, 17 themes, and 3 categories except duplicate statements. The three categories appeared as business partners, emotional partners, and communicative partners. Conclusion/implications : In order to maintain the occupation of workers with disabilities working in production facilities for severely handicapped people through meaningful subjects, it is necessary to establish specialists, improve working conditions of severely handicapped workers, support job training,
